About the Author

Author David Everett Dickman (‘Dave’) lives in Jefferson, Massachusetts where he has lived for over 70 years. Now retired from his many professional callings, Dave has gone back to his first love – writing. “When writing for newspapers (like yours truly), there’s an adage: Once you get ink in your blood, you can never get it out. They are right. I love writing,” notes Dave.

About the Illustrator

Illustrator Laura Bill is an artist from Massachusetts and is currently working in costume design for television and film. She is married to Dom, and their daughter, Josie, was born while Laura was working on this book.
